Stranger Things closed its final gate on New Year’s Day.

Stranger Things may have come to an end, but the Duffers aren’t done dabbling in the world they created, as a spinoff series is already in the works.

I have been a pretty staunch defender of the Stranger Things series finale, which I liked quite a bit.

Fans aren't exactly delighted by the "Stranger Things" finale, with many feeling as though it fell way short of delivering on expectations.

"It's different characters, different town, different story. But it's connected in some ways to the flagship. We really wanted this [season 5] to be the end of the story of Hawkins and the Upside Down...

But one character was seriously underserved by the series finale, and fans are calling it an unforgivable plot hole. There was excitement when Terminator star Linda Hamilton was cast as new Stranger Things villain Dr. Kay, and big chunks of Season 5 concerned her pursuit of Eleven.
