Cases of cyclosporiasis, a nasty parasitic infection that causes “explosive” watery diarrhea, have sickened dozens of people in Michigan and other parts of the United States.

A "large and growing" outbreak of a parasitic infection is spreading in Michigan, health officials warned this week.

The Michigan state health department reported at least another 170 cases in seven counties over the past nine days.
