A banker from London has described how he became a victim of romance fraud and lost his life savings. Varun Yadav was hoping to find his life partner on an Indian matrimonial app and met a woman he became attached to. She later persuaded him to invest in crypto trading on a platform called Deuncoin which he later found out was a scam after realising he could not recover any of his money.
